Bac Son Marathon - Na Nhem Festival 2027 brings a four-distance running programme to Bac Son in Lang Son province on Sunday, 21 February 2027, timed to coincide with the Tay community's Na Nhem spring festival. The current registration platform classifies the 2027 edition as a road marathon, with 7K, 15K, 21K and 42K options. The event is based around the Bac Son commune administrative centre grounds and Quynh Son community tourism village, with published route information saying runners will pass sites associated with the area's revolutionary history.
The festival setting is a major part of the race identity. Current event material highlights the Tay spring celebration and its distinctive Tang Thinh and Mat Nguyet symbols, traditionally associated with fertility, good harvests and prosperity. The previous 2026 edition attracted nearly 2,000 domestic and international runners, giving the event meaningful regional scale. Quynh Son itself sits in the Bac Son Valley within the Lang Son UNESCO Global Geopark area and was recognised by UN Tourism among its Best Tourism Villages for 2025, adding strong destination appeal for travelling runners.
The official current-edition artwork confirms Expo Day on Saturday, 20 February and Race Day on Sunday, 21 February. The current race listing gives an overall 04:00 local start, but category-specific flag-off times have not yet been published clearly enough to store without guessing.
Standard entry prices currently shown are VND 222,000 for 7K, VND 333,000 for 15K, VND 666,000 for 21K and VND 888,000 for 42K. The registration page is currently presented as open, although its visible sales-phase date metadata is internally inconsistent, so ARC does not record a registration deadline. Race-pack collection hours, final cut-offs, baggage arrangements, detailed aid-station plans, prizes and complete finisher entitlements are also not yet reliably published for the 2027 edition.
