Event Detail

Cool Race 1.5°C Da Lat International Run 2026 is a road-running event in the Vietnamese Central Highlands on Sunday 22 November. Its local event title is Giải Chạy Quốc Tế vì Đà Lạt Xanh 2026. The organisers promote running, environmental awareness, wellness, tourism and cultural links between Vietnamese and Korean communities. It forms part of a wider programme of events in Da Lat.

Route and venue

The event centres on Lâm Viên Square beside Xuân Hương Lake, one of the city's best-known public spaces. Running routes are planned through the surrounding central streets and lakeside areas. Advertised race distances are 21 km, 10 km, 5 km and a short 1.5 km symbolic climate run. This mix caters to half-marathon runners, recreational runners and families. A Korean-language event programme also describes a 3 km family or school category, but it is not currently in the Vietnamese registration portal; availability should be confirmed directly.

Race-day programme

The official event site lists 06:00 for the 21 km start, 07:00 for 10 km, 08:00 for 5 km and 09:00 for the 1.5 km distance. The programme includes opening activities, later awards and environmental experiences. Runners should confirm the final wave schedule, route and race collection arrangements before travelling.

Registration and planning

The Vietnamese registration portal advertises a reduced entry-price period from 16 to 30 October, followed by a regular-price period from 31 October to 12 November. It also publishes a deadline of 31 October for certain registration amendments, with a fee applying. Age eligibility depends on distance; entrants should consult the registration provider, especially because the organiser's Korean-language programme and Vietnamese registration information differ for the half-marathon age minimum.

Da Lat lies at higher elevation than Vietnam's coastal cities, and morning temperatures can be cool. Participants should allow time for travel to the central square, check the final course details and prepare for possible rolling terrain. The official race website and registration page are the best places to confirm any late changes.
