Global Gate Hạ Long ESG++ Marathon 2026

Global Gate Hạ Long ESG++ Marathon 2026 – Run for Net Zero is a new large-scale road-running event at Vinhomes Global Gate Hạ Long in Quảng Ninh on Sunday, 11 October 2026. Organised by DHA Vietnam, the event is being staged as a combined running, tourism and sustainability programme around Ha Long Bay, with September launch material targeting about 15,000 participants. The current official regulations list three competitions: a 21.097 km half marathon, 10 km and a 3 km family/kids run. Earlier promotional material included a 42 km race, but the latest official regulations and September launch announcement omit it, so ARC follows the current three-distance programme.

The start and finish are at Vinhomes Global Gate Hạ Long. Published course information sends runners from the development's boulevard network towards the 60-metre-wide Apollo Avenue and then along the coastal road beside Ha Long Bay. The organiser describes the roads as broad and relatively flat, with few sharp turns and traffic control intended to help runners maintain rhythm. A current iRace listing gives an overall race-day window of 04:00–10:00 ICT. Distance-specific flag-off times have not yet been published, so runners should check final organiser instructions.

Current cut-offs are 3 hours 30 minutes for the half marathon, 2 hours for 10K and 1 hour 30 minutes for 3K. Minimum ages are 16 for the half marathon, 12 for 10K and generally 7 for 3K, with younger children permitted when running with parents under the organiser's rules. All competitors receive electronic chip timing and must cross the official timing mats. Runners arriving more than 15 minutes after their distance's start may be disqualified, and on-course services such as hydration, medical support, pacing and photography end after the relevant cut-off.

The race kit is confirmed to include a BIB, electronic timing chip, event T-shirt, race bag and participant instructions. The latest published public-entry prices on iRace were VND 580,000 for 21K, VND 480,000 for 10K and VND 380,000 for 3K before the public sale was marked closed. Local Quảng Ninh resident bibs have also been distributed through a separate programme that closes when its allocation is filled. Detailed prize amounts and final race-pack collection instructions are not yet published, so they are not inferred here.
