Event Detail
Lamdong Trail returns to Da Lat in Vietnam's Central Highlands for its fourth edition, with an international ultra-trail challenge alongside shorter distances through the pine-covered highlands. The 2026 event is based at TTC World, Valley of Love (Thung Lũng Tình Yêu), on Mai Anh Dao Street. Race activity runs over 6-8 November, with the longer competitions on Saturday 7 November and the 5K programme on Sunday 8 November.
Terrain and competitive significance
The organiser's current programme offers 85K, 55K, 25K, 15K and 5K, as well as a children's 5K trail option. Routes explore Da Lat's pine forests, coffee-growing landscape, local villages, red basalt soil and hillsides that may be bright with wild sunflowers. These are off-road courses rather than flat city races; footing and weather can change quickly in the hills. The 85K is an Asia Trail Master Championship ranking and Grandmaster Quest event, making this a meaningful fixture for experienced regional ultra-runners as well as a destination event for recreational athletes.
Provisional race timetable
The official event information lists Saturday 7 November starts of 03:00 for 85K, 04:30 for 55K, 07:00 for 25K and 08:30 for 15K. Both 5K events are on Sunday 8 November at 07:30. These are Vietnam local times (UTC+7) and remain subject to final organiser instructions. Listed time limits are 21 hours for 85K, 16 hours 30 minutes for 55K, 8 hours 30 minutes for 25K, 6 hours 30 minutes for 15K and two hours for 5K. The longest race has several intermediate checkpoint cut-offs, so runners should study the latest race manual and GPX files, not just the overall finish deadline.
Race-week practicalities
Friday 6 November is the main expo and bib-collection day; further collection arrangements apply to the Sunday 5K runners. Long-distance entrants should prepare for an early journey to the race village, hill weather, mandatory safety gear and hydration requirements. The organiser's rules specify age minima of 18 for the 85K and 55K, 16 for the 25K and 14 for the 15K. Families should check the final children's-race instructions because eligibility wording differs between published materials.
Registration was already closed on the official iRace booking page when checked on 17 October 2026. Participants with entries should rely on their final race email for any schedule or route updates. This race is separate from Dalat Ultra Trail 2027 and Vietnam Highlands Trail by UTMB 2027, despite sharing the wider Da Lat running region.
