Event Detail
Tulay Trail 2026 is a mountain-running weekend in Tha Song Yang, Tak Province, Thailand, organised by RunRunTeam as part of the Tak Trail Series. The 2026 race joins the Asia Trail Master championship qualifier calendar after participating as a candidate race in 2025. The trails traverse steep, forested mountains near the Thai border, with demanding climbing and remote conditions.
Distances and course
Five race categories are advertised: TLT100 (approximately 108 km), TLT75 (77 km), TLT45 (45 km), TLT25 (25 to 26 km) and TLT8 (8 km). The longest race climbs about 6,300 metres, starts at 03:30 on Saturday 24 October and has a 34-hour limit. The 77 km starts at 03:30 with 4,800 metres of climbing and a 30-hour limit. The 45 km starts at 04:30, climbs 2,800 metres and allows 18 hours. The 25 km starts at 05:00, climbs 2,100 metres and allows nine and a half hours. The 8 km starts at 06:00, climbs 580 metres and allows five hours.
Ban Mae Chawang School is the main race base. Official course graphics identify checkpoint and aid locations, with refreshments and first-aid support indicated along the routes. The 25 km map shows a different finishing location, so participants should follow their own category's instructions. Maps and aid arrangements may be revised.
Registration and runner information
Entries are closed. The published regular fees were THB 5,500 for 108 km, THB 4,900 for 77 km, THB 4,100 for 45 km, THB 3,500 for 25 km and THB 1,100 for 8 km. Most regular entries closed on 1 October 2026; 25 km closed on 2 October and the 8 km field filled earlier. The organiser requires qualifying UTMB Index or ITRA scores for applicable distances.
Participants must collect their own bibs and equipment using government identification. Proxy and race-day collection are not permitted. Race rules prohibit shortcuts, littering and bib transfers; runners withdrawing must notify aid-station staff. Official award artwork shows overall male and female trophies for the top five in each race, plus age-group awards in longer categories. Cash prizes have not been confirmed.
Travel planning
The event takes place well away from major cities. Asia Trail Master advises that the drive from Mae Sot airport to the race area takes several hours. Runners should arrange transport and accommodation ahead of time, prepare for substantial climbing and changing mountain weather, and consult the organiser's final briefing.
Race Pack Information
Race bib and equipment collection is in person with ID or passport. No proxy collection or race-day collection. Exact collection hours and location are not yet confirmed.
