Event Detail
Quảng Trực Half Marathon 2026, subtitled Nối Nhịp Biên Cương (Connecting the Border Region), brings a community road-running weekend to Quảng Trực commune in western Lâm Đồng province. The organisers expect around 1,000 participants. Rather than a conventional city circuit, the race is built around the region's forested border landscape, rolling roads and living M'Nông cultural heritage. It is organised by the Quảng Trực Commune People's Committee, with Minh CKT Vietnam operating the event.
Two-day programme
Saturday 14 November is the expo and children's race day. The official event schedule lists race-pack collection from 10:00 to 17:30, a 1.5K Kids Run from 15:30 to 16:30, the opening ceremony and children's prizes at 17:00, and a cultural evening from 19:30 to 20:30.
The main road races are on Sunday 15 November, with baggage drop opening at 04:15, the 21K starting at 05:00, 10K at 05:30 and 5K at 06:00. The official provisional timetable shows the closing ceremony and awards beginning at 08:30. All times are local Vietnam time (UTC+7) and runners should follow their final event instructions for any adjustments.
Running distances and preparation
The four advertised distances are 21K, 10K, 5K and the 1.5K children's race. Published cut-off times are four hours for the half marathon, two hours 30 minutes for the 10K, one hour 15 minutes for the 5K and 45 minutes for the children's run. The official registration listing specifies a minimum age of 14 for the 10K and 21K; the kids run is for children under 12. Participants should consider an early journey to this rural border community rather than assuming the event is in Da Lat city centre.
Entry and local character
The advertised regular-registration window was 1-15 October 2026, so entrants should verify directly with the organiser whether any further entries are being accepted. The municipality highlights the race's connection with local communities and border stewardship, with additional recognitions for forest and border protectors, team participation and costumes. Final route maps and detailed access arrangements should be reconfirmed before travel.
