The Brooks Hyperion GTS 2 is a lightweight, supportive road-running shoe for runners who want a lively feel during faster daily training, tempo sessions and mixed-pace workouts. It combines nitrogen-infused DNA FLASH v2 cushioning with Brooks GuideRails support technology, designed to limit excessive movement while allowing a natural stride. The streamlined mesh upper aims to keep the shoe breathable and secure without the bulk of a traditional heavily cushioned stability trainer.
Brooks specifies an 8 mm midsole drop and lists the women's version at approximately 6.9 oz (196 g). Compared with the neutral Hyperion 2, the GTS edition includes the additional guidance system, making it a distinct option for runners who appreciate some structured support. It is not a carbon-plated race shoe and its road-focused outsole is not intended for technical, muddy trails.
