The Saucony Peregrine 15 is a low-drop trail running shoe for training and racing on mixed terrain, from packed paths to rocky and uneven tracks. Its focus is agile foot placement, traction and protection rather than the deep cushioning of a maximal road trainer.
Saucony specifies PWRRUN cushioning, a durable PWRTRAC rubber outsole, a protective rock guard and a reinforced, breathable mesh upper. The published 4 mm heel-to-toe offset comes from 28 mm under the heel and 24 mm under the forefoot, with 5 mm lugs for off-road grip. The men's reference weight is about 277 g, which varies with size.
The shoe is intended for trails rather than smooth-road speed sessions, and it is not marketed as waterproof. Runners switching from higher-drop shoes should consider a gradual transition. Try to confirm toe room, heel security and the retailer's returns policy before buying. Outsole performance depends on terrain and weather; no personal wear testing is claimed.
