The Craft Nordlite Speed 2 is a carbon-plated road running shoe intended for faster training and longer high-intensity efforts. It is designed for runners who want a more propulsive option for tempo sessions, intervals and races rather than a simple everyday trainer.
Craft combines Cr Foam Pro cushioning containing 25% PEBA with an updated Ultra Carbon Plate. The plate has a split construction intended to accommodate toe movement and support forward momentum. A lightweight engineered-knit upper, gusseted tongue and midfoot reinforcement provide structure, while Craft Endurance Fit combines a close heel, secure midfoot and more spacious forefoot. The relatively flat outsole is intended for paved running.
The carbon plate and performance-oriented feel may be less appropriate for runners who prefer a flexible, unplated shoe for relaxed recovery days.
