The Craft Nordlite Tempo is a high-stack road-running shoe designed for experienced runners seeking a lively feel during daily training, faster steady efforts and longer road sessions. It is a cushioned performance trainer rather than a minimalist shoe or a dedicated technical-trail model.
Craft uses a full-length Cr Foam Pro midsole with a stated 15% PEBA content, aiming to combine soft landings with responsive rebound. The HyperGrip rubber outsole was developed with Vittoria for road traction. An open-woven single-layer upper uses embroidery and TPU reinforcements to balance ventilation with structure. The manufacturer specifies a 6 mm heel-to-toe drop and stack heights, including the insole, of 40 mm at the heel and 34 mm at the forefoot.
The relatively tall platform may suit runners who favour cushioning and a smooth road rhythm, but may feel less grounded to those who prefer a low, flexible trainer. Outsole suitability on wet or loose terrain should be assessed independently; it is not presented as a specialist trail shoe. Check fit and sizing against Craft's chart, especially when buying across regions.
