Nathan’s Race Number Belt Nutrition Waist Belt is a minimal race-day accessory for carrying a bib and a small amount of fuel. Instead of pinning the number to a shirt or singlet, runners use the belt’s race-number attachments, helping avoid pin holes and making it easier to change layers without moving the bib.
The belt also provides three elastic loops for gels or similarly sized nutrition. That capacity suits events where only a few fuel items are required; runners needing a phone pocket, bottles or larger storage should compare a dedicated waist pack or hydration belt. Nathan lists it as a one-size model in black with reflective silver detailing.
Before race day, adjust the belt over the exact kit you plan to wear, attach the bib and load the intended gels. A short test run can reveal unwanted movement, bib flapping or difficult access. Confirm that each item is secure and that the belt does not interfere with clothing, timing equipment or other race kit.
