The Nike Zoom Superfly Elite 2 is a track sprint spike designed for 100 to 400 metre events. Nike uses an AtomKnit upper for a lightweight, breathable and close-fitting feel. A stiff sprint plate and eight removable stainless-steel pins provide traction on a suitable athletics track, while notched laces are intended to help keep the fit secure during fast efforts. Nike describes the outsole geometry as informed by runner data and designed to assist grip through bends.
This is a specialised racing shoe, not a road trainer or an appropriate choice for everyday pavement mileage. The aggressive plate and spike configuration favour short, high-speed track efforts over walking comfort or long-distance cushioning. Check that the pin length and type comply with the rules of your venue and competition. Nike describes the fit as snug and recommends considering half a size up if a roomier fit is preferred.
