Precision Fuel & Hydration’s PF 90 Gel, also known as the “Jumbo Gel”, places three 30 g carbohydrate servings in one resealable pouch. The 90 g total makes it easier to carry a larger quantity of fuel and track intake during long runs, ultras, rides and other endurance sessions without opening three separate packets.
The gel has the brand’s mild, neutral Original flavour and a texture designed to be less sticky in the mouth. Its carbohydrate blend uses a 2:1 glucose-to-fructose ratio. The manufacturer lists it as vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free and dairy-free, and the screw cap allows the pouch to be closed between portions.
This is the PF 90 Gel, not the larger PF 300 Flow Gel or the single-serve PF 30 and PF 30 Caffeine gels. Runners can use the graduated pouch markings to monitor consumption, but individual carbohydrate and fluid needs differ. Practise the intended intake during training, follow the label directions and combine it with an appropriate hydration plan rather than trying a new fuelling strategy on race day.
