Solos AirGo V2 Prime 2: camera and AI eyewear
The Solos AirGo V2 Prime 2 brings photo capture, video, audio and smartphone-connected AI features into a round-frame design. Solos specifies 16 MP still photographs, 2K video recording, Bluetooth 5.2 and a notification LED. The frame uses TR90 material and is offered in several colours, with lens choices and custom-lens options depending on the order.
Practical features
- Hands-free photography and video: capture first-person moments while walking, sightseeing or travelling, without reaching for a phone.
- Audio and AI interaction: Solos promotes smartphone-connected AI services and voice-related functions. Availability and app experience can depend on your phone, region and account.
- IP54 rating: manufacturer-rated protection against dust ingress and splashing, not a waterproof or swimming rating. Avoid assuming suitability for prolonged heavy rain.
- Battery claims: Solos quotes approximately 16 hours for photo-taking and AI enquiries in its stated usage scenario. A separate manufacturer listing advertises up to 10 hours of music streaming or seven hours of calls. These are different activity estimates, not interchangeable real-world guarantees.
- Charging: Solos lists approximately 1.5 hours for a full charge and up to three hours of operating time following a 15-minute quick charge.
For runners and outdoor use
These glasses could appeal to people who want occasional hands-free media capture on easy runs or everyday outings. They are not a GPS running watch, heart-rate monitor or heads-up-display sports system. Check physical stability, lens suitability, audio awareness and local camera/privacy expectations before running with them. Solos notes that AirGo V2 parts are not compatible with other AirGo generations.
The manufacturer's US listing showed US$299 but also marked the selected configuration unavailable/backordered when checked. That price should be treated as a reference, not evidence of immediate stock or delivery. Manufacturer claims are reported as such; no independent testing is implied.
