Who is it for?
Consider the OOahh if you want an easy slip-on for home, race travel or relaxed post-run wear. The purchase makes most sense when the footbed and strap feel comfortable to you. A soft slide is a preference, rather than a necessary part of every runner's equipment.
OOFOS markets its foam for impact absorption and recovery comfort. Those claims should not be read as a guarantee of faster recovery, injury prevention or treatment. This guide does not claim a firsthand wear test.
Standard, Plus or Sport Flex?
The standard OOahh is different from the OOahh Plus, which has a different platform, and Sport Flex, which has an adjustable strap. Check the full model name when comparing prices. A photograph of an adjustable closure is not the standard fixed-strap slide described here.
For a narrow or high-volume foot, try the fixed strap rather than assuming your usual running-shoe size will secure the foot. Check that the heel and toes remain on the footbed and that the foot does not slide around during normal walking. Assess the shape under the arch as well as overall length.
