Editorial verdict

Shokz OpenFit 2 is a strong option for runners who want music, podcasts and calls without plugging their ear canals. Its flexible ear hooks and open-ear, air-conduction design suit road training, gym sessions and everyday commuting. It is not the same product as the neckband-style OpenRun Pro 2 or the newer OpenFit 2+; this listing covers the standard OpenFit 2 (T920) in any colour.

Who it suits

Consider these if you dislike the sealed sensation of conventional earbuds, run in warm weather, or regularly move between a workout and office calls. The open design lets more outside sound through, which can be helpful in busy Asian cities. That is not a guarantee of safety: traffic, horns and cyclists can still be missed, especially at high volume. Follow local race rules about headphones and keep volume low near roads.

Verified specifications

Shokz specifies 9.4 g per earbud, Bluetooth 5.4, DualBoost drivers, physical multifunction buttons, multipoint pairing and IP55 dust/sweat resistance for the earbuds. Claimed listening life is up to 11 hours per charge, or up to 48 hours with the charging case; a ten-minute quick charge is advertised to add up to two hours of playback. Actual endurance varies with volume, temperature, calls and other settings. The charging case is not waterproof. Standard OpenFit 2 charges its case by USB-C; do not confuse it with the OpenFit 2+ version featuring wireless charging and Dolby Audio.

Trade-offs and practical fit

Open-ear audio does not isolate noise. Podcasts can be harder to follow beside heavy traffic, and loud playback may leak sound to people nearby. Independent testing also notes that the flexible hooks cannot be individually resized, so fit around glasses and ear shape should be tried where possible. They are not swimming headphones and should not be charged while wet. Wipe away sweat, dry the contacts and store the earbuds in their case between sessions.

Buying across Asia

Exact-model retail pages were found in Indonesia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Thailand and Japan. Some colours or individual stores may be sold out, so confirm stock and the T920 model code before paying. A marketplace search is included for Indonesia but is not a verified seller or stock guarantee. Check local warranty and return policies; some regional distributors specify different warranty periods.
