UpRace Flagship Event Vietnam 2026 (Virtual)

UpRace's flagship virtual challenge connects everyday exercise with support for social organisations in Vietnam. It is separate from the paid, in-person UpRace Day race at VNG Campus. Participants choose their own routes and build a total over several sessions.

Joining and completion

In the UpRace app, join UpRace Flagship Event 2026, choose a beneficiary, division and team, then record eligible activity. Late entrants are accepted during the challenge, but only activity after joining counts. Teams and beneficiaries cannot be freely changed once the event is underway.

The community division requires at least 60 km across 12 valid activity days for its completion certificate. The competitive division requires 150 km and 12 days, with additional heart-rate validation. These are cumulative completion thresholds, not continuous ultramarathons. The community 60 km option is available through UpRace even though its ARC distance selector still needs linking.

Tracking and optional timed races

Use UpRace or a supported connected watch. Outdoor runs and walks are accepted subject to pace and cadence checks. Treadmill runs require a compatible wearable; manually entered distance is not accepted. Synchronise activity within 72 hours after the challenge ends, without extending the running period.

Optional virtual races are scheduled for 21 October (10 km, two-hour limit) and 28 October (21.1 km, four-hour limit). The earlier 5 km round on 14 October has already passed. Follow each round's distance, cadence and heart-rate requirements rather than assuming every casual activity qualifies.

Charity and participation checks

Sponsors convert eligible activity into support for the selected beneficiary; this is not cash paid to runners. No fixed donation per kilometre or guaranteed physical race pack is promised here. Confirm app access and any prize-delivery restrictions, particularly from overseas. Event support is available at info@uprace.org and through the app.
