Event Detail
The China Athletics Association's 2026 10K Elite Race comes to Bengbu, Anhui Province, on Sunday 29 November. This is a distinct stop in the national road-running series rather than a separate distance within another marathon. The announced start is 9:00 am China Standard Time on Binhenan Road, to the east of the Yan'an Road Bridge. Its location places the race near the Huai River in Bengbu's urban waterfront district.
Organisers have advertised 8,000 places across two divisions. The competitive 10K has 4,000 places, while the shorter approximately 4.5K fun run also has 4,000. The fun-run distance is not an exact 5K, so the structured ARC distance filter represents the 10K only. Check the official registration guide for the final route and any updates to the start assembly point.
The published 10K entry price is CNY 100. Eligibility requires participants to be at least 16 during the race year. Participants pay in advance and entry places are allocated by ballot, with results scheduled for 4 November 2026. Unsuccessful applicants are promised their payments back through the original payment method. The shorter fun run is advertised at CNY 50 for an individual, with a CNY 100 adult-child pairing category, and entries are first come, first served. Children under 13 must be accompanied by a participating guardian.
The official registration portal shows 30 October at 5:00 pm as its deadline, whereas the longer event notice mentions 1 November at 10:00 am. Applicants should use the earlier time or contact the organiser to resolve the discrepancy instead of assuming the later deadline.
Runners travelling to Bengbu should arrange transport to the riverside venue in advance and check race-week communications for bib collection, road closures, baggage and start-corral access. The 10K is a timed competition associated with China's national elite road-running series; no race-specific cash awards, cut-off times or finisher inclusions are stated here without current-edition confirmation.
