Outdoor Agent Huangshan Xihong Autumn Trail Race 2026

The Outdoor Agent Huangshan Xihong Autumn Trail Race 2026 returns to the countryside around Hongcun, Yixian County, in China's Anhui Province on 14–15 November. The event is part of the established Xihong trail-running series and is distinct from its spring edition. Its setting combines wooded mountain paths, historic Huizhou villages and views around Qishu Lake, with autumn colours an important part of the experience. The Yixian County People's Government is the event host, with the county's culture, tourism and sports bureau coordinating the event and local sports operators involved in delivery.

Courses and race schedule

All five categories start and finish at Qishu Wonderland International Hotel, Hongcun Town. The published timetable uses China Standard Time (UTC+8):

• 100 km: Saturday 14 November, 06:00 start; approximately 3,841 m of climbing; 26-hour limit, closing Sunday at 08:00.
• 70 km: Saturday, 06:15; approximately 3,096 m climb; 18-hour limit, closing Sunday at 00:15.
• 56 km: Saturday, 06:30; approximately 2,105 m climb; 14-hour limit, closing at 20:30.
• 42 km: Sunday 15 November, 07:00; approximately 1,356 m climb; nine-hour limit, closing at 16:00.
• 35 km: Sunday, 07:15; approximately 1,159 m climb; eight-hour limit, closing at 15:15.

The 100 km is a substantial overnight ultra and entrants should consider darkness, changing temperatures, cumulative ascent and the compulsory equipment provisions in the organiser's race regulations. The 70 km and 56 km are also demanding mountain courses rather than road races. Organisers have described proposed ITRA point allocations, but these should not be treated as confirmed awards until ratified.

Entry and preparation

Registration is closed on the current official registration provider; prospective entrants should not assume places remain. Published standard entry fees were CNY 999 (100 km), 799 (70 km), 699 (56 km), 499 (42 km) and 399 (35 km). The event's published finishers' awards include a commemorative medal and a finisher pack, while separate placing awards are specified in the rules.

The detailed organiser instructions should be checked for age, health and prior-race experience requirements, compulsory kit, course changes and safety provisions. The race venue is in Hongcun Town, Yixian, not central Huangshan City; allow travel time from transport hubs. Official information and current race-status updates are available from the linked event registration page and the organiser's Chinese-language channels, including its WeChat account 悦野者越野.
