Organised by the Monster Little Sun event team, the programme has a stated capacity of 5,000 participants across four trail distances. The start and finish hub is Yuhuan Olympic Sports Centre.
Four ways to cross mountains and sea
The flagship 100K category covers approximately 103.9 km with 4,013 m of cumulative ascent. It starts at 6:00 am on Saturday 14 November, with a 28-hour cut-off at 10:00 am on Sunday 15 November. The organiser lists a potential four ITRA points for the category.
The 60K race is approximately 58.2 km, with 2,182 m of climbing. It starts at 7:00 am on Saturday and has a 14-hour cut-off. The 30K race follows a roughly 33.3 km course, climbs 1,200 m, starts at 8:00 am and allows eight hours. The 15K entry-level trail is actually around 16.6 km, with 431 m of climbing; its 9:00 am start is followed by a four-hour limit. All start times are China Standard Time (UTC+8). Where published, ITRA points are indicated as proposed rather than guaranteed.
Before race weekend
Yuhuan sits on Zhejiang's coast, giving the event its mountain-and-sea identity. Expect a substantial trail challenge, particularly in the ultra distances, and plan for climbing, downhill running and prolonged time on your feet. The organiser's published programme includes a maximum of 1,200 places for 100K, 1,600 for 60K, 1,600 for 30K and 600 for 15K.
Registration is currently closed on the official booking partner, so prices are shown for reference rather than as an invitation to enter: CNY 1,199 (100K), 769 (60K), 499 (30K) and 349 (15K), with a separate parent-and-child 15K entry previously listed at CNY 698.
