The WSE 10KM OPEN Tianjin stop brings the national WSE road-running series to the Dongli Lake Park precinct on Saturday, 7 November 2026. The programme combines a competitive 10 km event with a shorter elite race and two family-focused categories, giving both performance-oriented runners and parents with young children a way to participate.
Race-day programme
The organiser's published timetable begins with the 10K elite race from 07:00 to 09:00, with staggered waves for different groups. The 5K elite race follows from 09:00 to 10:00. The 5K parent-child race, for one adult accompanying one child, is scheduled from 09:30 to 10:30, while the 3K parent-child event occupies the 10:00 to 11:00 window. Participants should check their allocated wave and final assembly instructions in the organiser's race guide rather than treating these published windows as a single mass-start time.
Setting and entry information
Dongli Lake Park is the event venue, with a waterside setting in eastern Tianjin. The organiser has promoted the location for its lake views and green surroundings, but a final measured course map and detailed surface profile have not been independently confirmed. Participants should not assume the event is entirely traffic-free or that particular scenic sections are on the course until the final route is published.
The two elite events have separate age eligibility rules. The family divisions each require one accompanying adult and an eligible child; the 5K and 3K family categories have different children's birth-date windows. Registration is first come, first served and may close early when places sell out. The registration platform advertises a closing time of 27 October 2026 at 23:59 China time, while the series website shows a later closing time; entrants should use the live registration platform to check availability. Race packs, finisher gifts, detailed cut-offs and transport arrangements were not confirmed in the available current-edition instructions and should be checked directly with the organiser.
