Event Detail
The sixth GARMIN Ultra Fish N Sheep trail-running festival takes place across Hong Kong on 17–19 October 2026. It combines steep point-to-point mountain ultras with shorter youth and family races. Garmin is the title sponsor, and the 75K is a qualifier for the Asia Trail Master Season XII Championship and Grandmaster Quest. The longer courses also carry organiser-listed ITRA and UTMB Index recognition. Entrants should expect sustained climbing, exposed hillsides and rough trails, not a flat city course.
Routes and schedule
75K, Saturday 17 October, 08:00: The flagship course starts at CCC Kei San Secondary School, Fanling, and finishes at Lions Club-YMCA Junk Bay Youth Camp, Tseung Kwan O. The organiser publishes 74.35 km, 3,964 m climbing and an 18-hour cut-off. The route crosses Tai To Yan, Ng Tung Chai, Tai Mo Shan, the MacLehose Trail, Yuen Tsuen Ancient Trail, Grassy Hill, Needle Hill and Shing Mun Reservoir. Runners can send an additional drop bag to Lead Mine Pass near 40 km.
50K, Sunday 18 October, 09:00: A 50.97 km course from Fanling to the same camp finish, with 3,036 m ascent and a 15-hour limit. An approved Early Sheep group starts at 07:30 and has 16.5 hours; entrants must show previous running records and cannot contest 50K awards. Solo and two-person team entries are available.
28K, Monday 19 October, 08:00: The 27.39 km route begins at Shing Mun Reservoir Main Dam, climbing 1,343 m to the camp finish within an eight-hour limit. 12K, Saturday 17 October, 15:00: A 12.45 km camp-based loop with 522 m ascent, youth, parent-child and individual divisions, and a 3.5-hour cut-off. The three-day Grand Slam combines 75K, 50K and 28K, totalling 152.71 km and 8,343 m ascent.
