Pride Run Hong Kong 2026

Pride Run Hong Kong 2026 is the fourth annual inclusive trail event organised by RaceBase Running Events in association with OutRunners HK, on Sunday 13 December 2026. The event celebrates fitness, community and diversity, welcoming LGBTQI+ runners, allies and families regardless of running pace or experience. Net proceeds support AIDS Concern, the Hong Kong charity providing HIV/AIDS care, public-health services and sexual-health education.

Both races start and finish at the Aberdeen PHAB BBQ Site inside Aberdeen Country Park, Hong Kong Island:

• 9K Trail Run starts 8:30am HKT. The organiser's GPX measures about 9.1 km, with approximately 219 m of climbing (course description elsewhere rounds ascent to 271 m), and a maximum course high point of approximately 311 m. Minimum entry age 8 years.
• 5.5K Family-Friendly Hike starts 9:00am HKT. The mapped route is about 5.8 km with approximately 97 m of climbing; a casual hike rather than a timed race for podium rankings. Minimum age 5 years.

The course loops through the wooded Aberdeen Country Park paths and reservoir landscape, with uneven trail surfaces, inclines and stairs. Expect a marked/marshalled course. There is one aid station with water and electrolytes on the 9K course, plus finish refreshments and a baggage-drop facility at the common start/finish. Both categories have a 2:00pm Hong Kong-time cutoff; final course layouts remain subject to the country park authority's permit approval.

Registration fees: The 9K costs HK$450 early bird until 31 October and HK$550 standard from 1 November. The 5.5K hike costs HK$350 early bird and HK$450 standard on the same dates. Online registration closes 13 December 2026 at 7:59am HKT, subject to places still being available. Optional merchandise add-ons are charged separately: the registration platform currently offers T8 Pride Run Sherpa Shorts and additional race shirts, neither of which is included in the base entry fee.

All registered participants receive a bib, timing chip, finisher medal, event T-shirt, access to bag drop and post-race food. The organiser promotes a picnic-like community gathering at the finish. Exact bib and race-pack pickup hours/venue are not yet confirmed by the 2026 race page; follow your Bibly registration confirmation and organiser email rather than assuming details from previous editions. Transfers, deferrals and cancellations are subject to the published RaceBase policy.

Access: Aberdeen Country Park's PHAB BBQ area is within the Southern District countryside; the locator is an approximate OpenStreetMap Aberdeen PHAB picnic-site position, not a surveyed arch location. Allow time to reach the start via paths from Aberdeen and follow organiser shuttle/transport guidance when issued.
