Run With Love - Friends of Caritas Charity Run Hong Kong 2027

Run With Love – Friends of Caritas Charity Run Hong Kong 2027 returns to Hong Kong Science Park on Sunday 31 January 2027, supporting Caritas Hong Kong’s social welfare, educational and medical programmes. Hosted by Friends of Caritas and co-organised by Chong Gene Hang College Athletics Club, the theme is “Run for Love, Run for Hope.”

The event assembles at Charles K. Kao Auditorium (the Golden Egg) in Hong Kong Science Park, with routes following the Pak Shek Kok Waterfront Promenade and Tolo Harbour. The organiser confirms an overall 8:00am–1:00pm programme; a September 2026 media briefing describes an 8:00am opening ceremony with races thereafter. Individual 2027 distance flag-off waves have not yet been separately confirmed.

Confirmed 2027 race programme:

• 10K: individual challenge plus corporate and running-club teams
• 5K: individual challenge and friendship/team categories
• 3K: individual and student group entries
• 1K: individual and parent-child/family categories

The 10K and 5K are competitive distances, while shorter distances are welcoming to beginners, children and families. The organiser plans to seek athletic-association course recognition for the competitive 10K and 5K routes; certification should not be assumed until officially granted. The course takes runners along the Tolo Harbour waterfront rather than hilly mountain trails.

Registration deadline: 31 December 2026, subject to capacity. Race-pack pickup notices are expected about a week before race day. Participants receive an event running shirt, drawstring bag, hat, bottle, sports wristbands and sponsor items according to the organiser's 2027 event announcement. Finishers receive a medal and electronic certificate. The organiser also provides individual and team trophies for leading 10K and 5K results.

Important pricing note: The organiser's detailed English fee table and several FAQs currently still contain 2026 edition dates and prices. Their figures and listed 2026 wave times are not verified for 2027. Accordingly, this ARC record does not publish guessed 2027 fees or unsupported per-distance flag-off times. Please use the official 2027 registration information or contact the organiser at WhatsApp +852 6660 4683 for current availability, entry choices and prices.

Getting there: Hong Kong Science Park is reached by buses and green minibuses serving Pak Shek Kok, or via University MTR Station and onward bus connection. Allow time to locate the Golden Egg event assembly plaza.
