World Triathlon Cup Hong Kong 2026

The World Triathlon Cup Hong Kong 2026, presented by World Triathlon and hosted by the Triathlon Association of Hong Kong China (TriHK), brings international elite swim-bike-run racing to the Central waterfront at Lung Wo Road on 7–8 November 2026.

The flagship sprint triathlon format is 750m swim, 20km bike and 5km run. The event programme also includes an international mixed-team relay, with teams of men and women each completing shorter swim, cycle and run segments. Additional local participation categories may be offered through TriHK's separate registration system; these are not the same as the invitation-based international elite competitions.

Confirmed international competition programme (Hong Kong local time)

• Saturday 7 November, 9:00am: Elite women's sprint race
• Saturday 7 November, 10:30am: Elite men's sprint race
• Saturday 7 November, 11:45am: Elite women's and men's medal ceremonies
• Sunday 8 November, 2:00pm: Elite mixed-team relay
• Sunday 8 November, 3:30pm: Mixed-team relay medal ceremony

The organiser describes the published schedule as provisional. Elite athletes have a race briefing and race-pack distribution at the official team hotel on Friday 6 November; this logistical arrangement should not be confused with public participants' packet pickup.

Public registration: TriHK advertises a range of HK$980–HK$2,080 for its World Triathlon Cup-associated registration offerings. The exact fee and course depend on individual membership, age group and race choice, so this is a range, not an elite-race entry fee or a single category price. TriHK's current advertised normal-entry deadline is 25 October 2026, subject to capacity and any organiser changes. Entrants should use the official registration portal to confirm eligibility and available divisions.

Visitor information: Lung Wo Road is on the Central government/Tamar waterfront, convenient for Central, Admiralty and Hong Kong MTR stations. Expect temporary road controls and allow extra time to reach course-side viewing areas. The event also has a linked music-and-sport carnival at Wan Chai's Cultural Plaza. Follow TriHK and World Triathlon for updated road access, waves and viewing arrangements.

Listing note: ARC's sprint-triathlon reference captures the combined 25.75km elite swim-bike-run format; the 5K is the run leg, not a stand-alone running race. Mixed-relay leg lengths differ. The sprint-triathlon distance type is newly submitted and awaits ARC approval.
