Cognizant New Delhi Marathon 2027

Cognizant New Delhi Marathon 2027 is the 12th edition of the capital's established road-running festival, organised by NEB Sports and promoted by the event itself as "The National Marathon". The official 2027 site confirms Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium as the venue and Sunday, 28 February 2027 as race day, while AIMS separately confirmed that date after an earlier 21 February listing was changed. The organiser highlights the event's reach across more than 490 cities, all 32 Indian states and union territories, and 31 countries across recent editions.

The programme offers a 42.2K Marathon, 21.1K Half Marathon, 10K and 5K Fun Run. Minimum ages are 18 for the Marathon and Half Marathon, 14 for the 10K and six for the 5K. Published cut-offs are six hours for the Marathon, with the first loop required within three hours, three hours 30 minutes for the Half Marathon, 90 minutes for the 10K and one hour for the 5K. Runners who continue beyond the cut-off do so without route support and are not issued an official finisher certificate.

Current 2027 registration is available through organiser-linked platform MySamay. Listed fees are INR 3,750 for the Marathon, INR 2,750 for the Half Marathon, INR 2,000 for the 10K and INR 1,000 for the 5K, plus 18% GST. The present registration window runs through 20 October 2026 or until slots fill. Category changes and cancellation or refund requests are restricted within 60 days of race day, and cancellations attract an INR 250 processing charge.

A current 2027 race guide lists the Marathon programme from 04:00 IST. The organiser has not yet published a consolidated 2027 flag-off timetable, final route map, prize schedule or expo and bib-collection programme, so those details have deliberately not been inferred from the 2026 edition.
