Event Detail

IRONMAN 70.3 Goa 2026 returns to Panaji on Sunday, 1 November, giving triathletes an international middle-distance race on India's Arabian Sea coast. The programme takes place around Miramar Beach and combines a 1.9 km sea swim, 90 km cycle and 21.1 km run, a total of approximately 113 km. The 21.1 km shown in the distance selector is the final running leg of a triathlon, not a separately bookable half marathon.

Course overview

Athletes start with a triangular open-water swim offshore from Miramar Beach. The two-lap cycle section includes the Zuari Bridge and roads around Panaji, before competitors run three loops through the Miramar and Governor's Palace area. The coastal course requires preparation for warm, humid conditions and a sea swim; the organiser's final athlete briefing governs safety and permitted equipment.

Participation and race limits

The race offers individual entries and two- or three-person relay teams. Relay participants divide the swim, bike and run legs and exchange a shared timing chip at transitions. The registration platform requires entrants to be at least 18. The advertised full-course cut-off is 8 hours 30 minutes, with swim and swim-plus-bike intermediate limits. Individual participants should consult the latest athlete guide and race briefing to confirm their wave, transition arrangements and race-day transport.

The official IRONMAN registration page shows tiered individual and relay pricing, including tax and processing charges. Prices and remaining places may change; in particular, not all categories have the same availability. The location is Miramar Beach in the capital of Goa, while the official participant guide is the authoritative source for expo, equipment check-in and race-week instructions.
