Lokmat MahaMarathon Season 10 Maha Mumbai Thane 2026

The Maha Mumbai edition of Lokmat MahaMarathon Season 10 comes to Thane on Sunday 29 November 2026. This is the second round of Lokmat Media's six-city Maharashtra road-running circuit, after Kolhapur and before the stages in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Nashik, Nagpur and Pune. Although promoted as Maha Mumbai, the registered race venue is in Thane West, at V.R. Konkan Ground near Pokharan Road No. 1 and the Cadbury factory landmark.

Four distances are offered: a half marathon, 10 km, 5 km and 3 km. The half marathon and 10 km are the competitive timed events. Their advertised runner packages include electronic timing, whereas the shorter routes provide accessible options for new runners, families and local community participants. Organisers describe an urban course shaped by Thane's busy streets and varied neighbourhoods, with volunteer marshals, cheering groups, hydration stops and medical assistance. The event's general schedule runs from 05:00 to 10:00 Indian Standard Time, but no reliable distance-by-distance starting timetable has yet been published.

The competitive half marathon and 10 km use Open (18–35), Neo Veteran (36–45) and Veteran (46+) divisions. At least ten participants must enter a division to maintain it as a separate prize category. Otherwise runners may be reassigned to a suitable division while retaining award eligibility. Specific prize amounts are not provided in the current event rules.

There is one important venue detail to double-check. The organiser's current registration page names V.R. Konkan Ground as the event venue but its generic course description also refers to starting at Raymond Ground. Until a final map confirms otherwise, registered participants should follow their own official bib and start-location instructions rather than assuming those place names are interchangeable. The map pin on ARC is approximate.

Booking terms allow a refund of the registration fee when a cancellation is requested at least 30 days before the event, excluding platform charges; requests within 30 days are not refundable. A postponement may lead to credit towards another MahaMarathon round. Race-pack collection times and the final detailed course map are yet to be confirmed.
