Namma Belagavi Marathon 2026

Namma Belagavi Marathon returns running to the roads around Belagavi, Karnataka, on Sunday 29 November 2026. The event is organised by the Elite Masters Running Team, Belagavi, through RUNADDA Elite Running Academy. Its 2026 theme is Run to Save Nature, connecting the event to local environmental awareness and the region's sporting community.

Course and local character

The organiser promotes a scenic Belagavi to Yarmal Katta / Rajhansgarh Road setting. Its campaign honours two prominent regional freedom fighters, Kittur Rani Chennamma and Krantiveer Sangolli Rayanna. The advertised programme includes a full marathon, half marathon, timed 10K and 5K, so participants can choose a challenge appropriate to their running experience. Final measured route maps and the precise start and finish assembly arrangements should be checked with the organiser rather than inferred from the promotional route description.

Race-day arrangements

The official registration provider advertises a timing chip, participant certificate, course hydration, event photographs and breakfast after the run for registered participants. The event website also promotes a finisher medal and T-shirt. Cash prizes are advertised on the organiser's current-edition registration flyer, while the official entry page lists age-group award brackets for the marathon, half marathon and 10K; exact cash amounts and all eligibility conditions should be checked with the organiser.

The registration provider's event listing shows an overall 5:00 am India Standard Time start. That does not establish a separate flag-off for every distance. Runners should confirm their assigned wave, assembly point, bib-collection procedure, final route, cut-offs and access arrangements from their official entry confirmation before travelling. Entry prices are shown separately by race category on the organiser's website.
