Namma Run Coimbatore 2026

Namma Run Coimbatore 2026, South Edition is a family-focused road-running and fitness festival presented by Network18, with support from TE Sports, at CODISSIA Trade Fair Complex on Avinashi Road in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. Taking place on Sunday 22 November, it brings together runners, walkers, children and families under the Fit India movement. The advertised event programme begins at 05:30 IST; the organiser has not published verified separate starting-gun times for every category.

Choose the right event

• 1K Kids Run: a short participation event for younger children.
• 2K Kids Run and 2K Freestyle Costume Run: short recreational categories, with costumes forming part of the latter rather than a timed-distance competition.
• 3K Walkathon: walking-focused participation category, suitable for families and people who prefer a lower-intensity event.
• 5K and 10K Fun Runs: non-competitive options for recreational runners.
• 5K and 10K Timed Runs: separate competitive entries with timing bibs; these are the appropriate options for runners seeking a recorded time or competitive placing.

Select the specific timed or untimed ticket carefully. The registration portal lists different prices even for runs covering the same distance. The IndiaRunning booking page currently lists 1K and both 2K options at INR 99, the 3K walk and 5K fun run at INR 499, 5K timed at INR 599, 10K timed at INR 699, and 10K fun run at INR 899. Another booking platform, RaceMart, advertises materially different fees, including higher timed-race charges. Treat the final checkout price and terms on the selected registration partner as authoritative for your purchase; do not assume the two platforms' prices are interchangeable.

More than a road race

The organisers promote a morning of group fitness, with Zumba sessions, live music, entertainment, games and family activities alongside the runs. The programme advertises course volunteers, hydration and electrolytes, on-site paramedics and emergency medical assistance, toilets and event photography. Race T-shirts, medals, bibs and e-certificates are advertised in event information, although exact entitlements can vary by ticket category and should be checked before purchase. The total cash prize fund is advertised as INR 300,000 for competitive divisions; organisers explicitly state that 1K, 2K and 3K categories have no cash prizes.

Getting ready

The venue is the CODISSIA grounds beside Avinashi Road, Coimbatore, not an unspecified city-centre start. Runners travelling from elsewhere should allow extra time for early-morning event traffic and confirm the precise assembly point. Individual flag-off times, bib-collection dates and venue, parking instructions and any late cancellation or postponement notices remain unverified from the 2026 event listing. Keep the organiser's IndiaRunning registration page and @network18run Instagram available for official updates.

Source note: Other booking partners currently show conflicting published prices. No registration closing date has been substantiated, so this draft does not invent one.
