AEON 42nd Anniversary Run For Smiles Taiping 2026

Celebrate AEON's 42nd anniversary with Run For Smiles, a relaxed 3 km community run at AEON Mall Taiping, Perak, on Sunday 20 December 2026. Inspired by Japanese cherry blossoms, the occasion combines a short, accessible run with a cheerful, family-oriented celebration and a collection of commemorative keepsakes.

The organiser advertises a 7:00 am to 10:00 am event window. Participants can choose from free, Lite, Standard and Premium packages. The paid packages feature an unusual sakura-themed quicksand medal, whose glitter moves inside the design, as well as a limited-edition keychain and a chance to win a lucky-draw prize. Standard and Premium entrants also receive an event shirt, with the Premium package offering upgraded fabric. Free entrants receive a randomly selected keychain rather than a medal or a lucky-draw entry.

Before you go

Race-kit collection: Saturday 19 December, 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm, at AEON Mall Taiping. Registration is advertised to close 11 December 2026, subject to places remaining available; the organiser states that slots are limited and allocated first come, first served. If ordering an event shirt, check the organiser's Asian/slim-fit sizing chart. The organiser recommends choosing a size larger than your usual international size.

This is a 3 km fun run, not a timed marathon or long-distance road race. Exact course arrangements, road access, hydration points and any age restrictions should be checked in the organiser's final participant instructions before race day.
