FESRUN 70: Graffiti Edition 2026

FESRUN 70: Graffiti Edition is a 5K night fun run forming part of Festival Konvokesyen UTM Ke-70, the 70th convocation celebrations at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. Open to UTM students and staff as well as the wider public, the event brings a colourful, social running experience to Dataran UTM on the Skudai campus in Johor. Its organiser promotes the theme Paint the Streets, Run Your Story. This is a themed fun run, and the published information does not confirm any actual colour-powder stations or competitive race certification.

The run is scheduled to flag off at 8:30pm on Saturday, 21 November 2026. The organiser advertises one 5 km fun-run distance rather than a half marathon or multi-distance race. A current-edition route-map graphic appears on the registration page, but a fully described course, elevation profile, road closures and cut-off time have not been confirmed in the accessible text. Participants should follow official route markings and race-day instructions.

Race-day planning

The start area is on UTM's Skudai campus, outside central Johor Bahru. Allow time to locate the correct campus entrance and parking arrangements, which have not yet been specified. Evening temperatures can remain warm and humid, so dress appropriately and bring water for before and after the run.

Race-pack collection is listed at Dataran UTM from 18 to 20 November, 8:30pm to 10:30pm, plus an additional session on 21 November, 5:00pm to 10:30pm. The race-day collection window overlaps the scheduled flag-off, so runners collecting on Saturday should arrive well before 8:30pm.

Registration is open through the organiser's published forms and JomRun, with separate UTM-community, group and public pricing. The published registration closing date is 14 November 2026 at 11:59pm MYT. An event jersey, finisher medal, race bib and e-certificate are listed among the entitlements. Check the organiser's latest announcements for any changes to route, arrival instructions or collection arrangements.
