JPJ Run Sibu 2026

JPJ Run Sibu 2026 is a community road-running event at JPJ Cawangan Sibu on Sunday 8 November 2026. Organised by Kelab KUSMA JPJ Sarawak, with technical support from Underground Runner Sibu, it offers a 5K fun run/walk and a 10K competitive race. Both courses start and finish at the Sibu branch on Jalan Oya.

The 5K route follows Jalan Old Oya and Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman before returning to the event venue. The longer 10K course also uses Jalan Deshon. Official route maps show marked turns, distance markers and a hydration point near the Star Mega Mall area. Runners should follow event marshals and check for any late route or traffic-management notices.

The 10K race starts at 6:30am, followed by the 5K fun run/walk at 6:45am. The 10K includes men's and women's open divisions as well as veteran divisions for runners aged 45 and above. Published 10K prize information shows cash awards for the top ten finishers in each division. The first-place prize is RM1,000 per division, with awards extending to RM100 for places six to ten. A lucky draw is also advertised for the fun-run category.

Registration closed on 8 October 2026. The advertised entry fees were RM50 for the 5K and RM70 for the 10K. Both categories include an event shirt, bib and finisher medal, while the 10K has timing support. Race-pack collection is on Saturday 7 November from 8:00am to 4:30pm at JPJ Cawangan Sibu. Participants travelling from outside Sibu should plan to collect their kits the day before the race.
