Event Detail

Pos Malaysia Run 2026 brings the national postal operator's community road-running event back to central Kuala Lumpur for its third edition. First staged in 2024, the event is built around healthy living, greener initiatives and national unity. Its race village is at Dataran Merdeka, home to Malaysia's 0KM marker and one of the capital's most recognisable civic spaces.

The programme comprises a 21km half marathon, 10km and 5.5km Fun Run. The half marathon and 10km each have men's and women's Open and Veteran divisions, with Open ages set at 18–39 for 21km and 16–39 for 10km; Veteran divisions are for runners aged 40 and above. The 5.5km option is open from age five and is offered for individuals or groups of four. All categories accept participants of any nationality. ARC's current structured distance list does not include 5.5km, so that category is recorded here but not mislabelled as a 5km race.

The published event window is 4:00am–12:00pm MYT on Sunday, 29 November 2026. The organisers state that the routes are officially measured, verified and sanctioned by the Federal Territory Kuala Lumpur Athletic Association (FTKLAA). Participants must follow the designated route, display their bib and observe course-official instructions. Runners under 18 require parental or guardian permission, and an accompanying guardian must also be registered. Pets, prams, skates and wheeled recreational equipment are not permitted.

Online registration is now closed. The latest published normal fees were RM138 for 21km, RM108 for 10km, RM88 for an individual 5.5km entry and RM288 for a four-person 5.5km entry. Entries were non-transferable, non-refundable and non-deferrable. The 21km and 10km are timed; all finishers receive a medal and e-certificate, while 21km finishers also receive a finisher shirt and towel. The 21km and 10km top five in each Open and Veteran men's and women's division receive cash prizes.

Race kits are delivered or collected from selected Pos Malaysia outlets. Published collection windows run from 19–21 November 2026 at eight post-office locations in Johor, Negeri Sembilan, Perak, Penang, Selangor and Kuala Lumpur. There is no event-day kit collection. Participants should monitor Pos Malaysia's official channels for any operational updates before travelling.
