Event Detail
New Year Resolution Charity Run 2027 is a New Year’s Day community charity run based at Majlis Bandaraya Kuching Selatan (MBKS) in Kuching. Organised by City Jogger's Club under the theme “Every Step for Charity, Every Heart for Community”, the event offers two accessible fun-run distances, 7K and 3K, rather than a championship-style road race.
The current-edition organiser artwork schedules the 7K to flag off at 6:30am MYT, followed by the 3K at 6:45am. The registration platform lists the event window through 8:00am. Both distances use the same MBKS event base, making this a compact early-morning programme for runners and walkers starting the new year with a community-focused event.
Current participant artwork confirms an event T-shirt and event medal. Detailed 2027 course maps, cut-off times, aid-station arrangements and prize information have not yet been published in the accessible current-edition material, so those details have not been inferred from earlier races. The organiser has also published a late-December race-kit collection window, while the exact pickup venue and collection hours remain to be confirmed.
Registration opened on 29 August 2026 and is scheduled to close at 11:59pm MYT on 15 November 2026. BiiB lists Ryan Chan and Ho Ai Ping as event contacts for participant enquiries.
