Pendang Half Marathon Kedah 2027

The Pendang Half Marathon 2027 takes runners into the countryside around Pendang, Kedah, where roads pass through agricultural landscapes and paddy fields. The event is organised by Pelikat Batik Run, with its event hub at Stadium Mini Pendang. The race offers a competitive half marathon alongside a 10K and a more accessible 5K, providing options for experienced distance runners and newcomers alike.

Race morning

• 21K half marathon: 6:30 am start; four-hour course cut-off.
• 10K: 7:00 am start; two-and-a-half-hour cut-off.
• 5K: 7:30 am start; two-hour cut-off.
• All timings refer to Malaysian local time (MYT, UTC+8). Participants should arrive ahead of their own distance's start, allow time for parking and follow the organiser's final route and assembly directions.

Registration and race preparation

Registration is advertised through Howei, with an event closing date of 24 March 2027. The organiser's current-edition entry-fee artwork divides sales into early-bird (before 1 October 2026), standard (2 October 2026 to 2 March 2027) and late (3–24 March 2027) phases. The standard fees shown in the category cards are those applicable as of October 2026; later prices increase. Places and price tiers are subject to the organiser's registration platform.

The official event information lists an event T-shirt, finisher medal and electronic certificate for participants, with an additional finisher T-shirt for the 21K and 10K. The organiser also advertises cash awards for selected competitive classifications. Participants should review category eligibility, shirt sizing and final instructions when booking, as detailed race-pack collection arrangements have not yet been verified.

Course and practical notes

Expect an early start in Kedah's warm, humid conditions. Check the organiser's final route notices and safety instructions before travelling. Event website images confirm that the published flag-off times and cut-offs differ by distance; the general event listing's 6:30 am time applies to the half marathon, not every race.

Source verification: The 2027 Howei event listing, its official flag-off/entry-fee graphics and the Pelikat Batik Run organiser website were consulted. The mapping pin approximates Stadium Mini Pendang and does not claim to identify the exact start-line gantry.
