Event Detail
Lactacyd Women's Run PH Davao returns to SM Lanang on Sunday, 17 January 2027 as the second stop in the organiser's Lactacyd-sponsored national running series. Developed by Women's Run PH with RUNRIO and Femme Strides, the event is designed as a women-focused road-running morning that welcomes newcomers, recreational runners and more competitive participants. Women's Run PH describes a wider community of more than 15,000 women runners and partnerships with 26 clubs and organisations across the Philippines.
Race programme and venue
The Davao leg offers four categories: a 16 km challenge, 10 km, 5 km and 1 km Kids Dash. All are based at SM Lanang on J.P. Laurel Avenue in Davao City's Agdao district. The registration platform gives an overall event start of 5:00 am Philippine time, but the organiser has not yet confirmed the individual flag-off times. Published cut-offs are 3 hours for 16 km, 2 hours for 10 km, 1 hour for 5 km and 30 minutes for the Kids Dash. Final route maps and street-by-street course details have not yet been released, so participants should not assume a particular road layout.
The published regular entry fee for the 16 km race is PHP 1,900, with early-bird and late-registration prices of PHP 1,700 and PHP 2,100 respectively. The other three categories have their own registration tiers, shown in the race-category cards. Registration is first come, first served, and entries are non-transferable and non-refundable. Changes to race category or shirt size are not accepted after registration.
What runners should know
Runners use a race bib with an attached B-Tag timing device. The organiser says kilometre markers will be provided along the route, with water and isotonic drinks at hydration stations. Entrants should arrive well ahead of their assigned start: the competition rules state that runners who have not started within 15 minutes of their flag-off may be disqualified. For safety, pets, prams and strollers are not permitted.
Finisher entitlements include a medal, electronic certificate and other race-kit items under the organiser's conditions. A dedicated finisher shirt is reserved for 16 km finishers. The event also advertises overall podium awards, age-category recognition for the 5 km and 10 km, and group awards for the largest participating company and running club. Cash-prize amounts have not been announced.
The 1 km Kids Dash is open to children aged 3 to 12; the organiser recommends a registered accompanying parent or guardian. Minimum ages are 13 for 5 km and 16 for 10 km. Participants under 18 require parental or guardian consent.
A final in-person race-pack collection timetable and exact assembly instructions remain to be announced. Entrants who purchase race-kit delivery should check their address carefully and follow the organiser's delivery conditions.
