ATHLO+ is bringing Singapore's running community together for an easy five-kilometre shakeout on Wednesday 2 December 2026, just before the BYD Singapore International Marathon weekend. This is an independently organised social run by ATHLO+, not an official event or race category of the Singapore International Marathon.
Easy Marina Bay loop
Participants meet at Harry's Esplanade, 8 Raffles Avenue, #01-05/07, Esplanade Mall, for a relaxed out-and-back run around Marina Bay. The described route passes the Merlion and Marina Bay Sands before returning to the meeting point. The organisers encourage a conversational pace rather than racing or chasing a personal best. Runners do not need to be registered for the marathon weekend to join.
Timing and participation
The organiser confirms Wednesday 2 December and an evening session but has not yet announced an exact check-in or flag-off time. The date is therefore recorded without an invented start hour. Register through the ATHLO+ event page to receive the confirmed meeting time and check-in instructions by email. The event is advertised as free with no cap on participants.
Community activities
ATHLO+ ambassadors and TeamSportPlus members are scheduled to attend, offering an opportunity to meet fellow runners and ask race-week questions. The organiser advertises a bag deposit, a post-run lucky draw with prizes yet to be announced, and an ATHLO+ member discount at Harry's using the member's own Locker code. A finisher medal, official timing or a race pack is not promised. Confirm the latest route and weather arrangements with ATHLO+ before travelling.
