Ultra Trail Singapore (UTSG) 2027

Ultra Trail Singapore (UTSG) 2027, organised by Mountain Goat Running Club, returns on 4–6 June 2027, offering seven trail-racing formats through Singapore's demanding forest paths, urban hills, ridge stairs and park connectors. Longer distances include a combination of different daily courses rather than necessarily one nonstop route.

Seven organiser-advertised 2027 distances, with approximate GPX ascent from its current course library:

• 20K Youth: +470m ascent, short trail-distance race
• 25K Short: +1,040m ascent; organiser maps the route near Pepys Road Car Park
• 35K Mid: +1,036m ascent, based on the course-specific GPX
• 60K Long: +1,927m ascent, the established Asia Trail Master championship-class distance
• 80K Ultra: +939m ascent, typically more runnable despite its length, and a Grandmaster Quest format
• 120K Three-Day Long: +4,003m cumulative ascent across multiple sessions/days
• 165K Three-Day Ultra: +5,715m cumulative ascent across multiple sessions/days

The event uses multiple start points around Lorong Sesuai / Bukit Timah and Pepys Road Car Park / Southern Ridges depending on the distance. The 25K and 80K are associated with Pepys Road Car Park, while other events use the Lorong Sesuai side; check the latest race-specific course guide before travelling. Each race can involve roads, stairs, forest trails, steep short climbs, heat, humidity and in some categories after-dark running. Participants should check the final GPX routes, trail-access rules, mandatory kit and cutoff points carefully.

Registration: the organiser's live 2027 RunnerReg page confirms an event opening on Friday 4 June 2027 at 5pm Singapore time as an overall starting marker. Individual 2027 race flag-off waves are not yet reliably published. The schedule section on that page still reads Friday 5 June, Saturday 6 June, Sunday 7 June, matching the 2026 weekdays and dates, not 2027. Those old race-wave times must NOT be presented as confirmed 2027 starts. The early event-start timestamp is used only for the multi-day event window, not as an assigned 25K or 165K flag-off.

Registration officially opens 15 January 2027 at midnight SGT and closes 28 May 2027 at 11:59pm, or earlier if full. The initial programme estimates around 700 participants. The accessible 2027 page currently shows no reliable comprehensive distance-by-distance fee matrix; the organiser will confirm pricing as the registration window approaches. Race pack and welfare: bib collection dates, pickup points, mandatory equipment, aid-station provisions and cutoffs for the 2027 edition still require release of an updated race guide. Do not copy 2026 collection locations or issue the 2026 7pm flag-offs as 2027 instructions. Registered entrants should monitor the official race page, email and social channels for updates.

Asia Trail Master note: the 60K was a Championship qualifying race and the 80K a Grandmaster Quest event in 2026. Inclusion or point awards in the 2027 circuit should be checked against the updated 2027 ATM calendar before being advertised as guaranteed.
