Event Detail
Ulsan Run Festa (U-RUN) 2026 brings a large participation running festival to Munsu International Archery Range in Ulsan, South Korea, on Sunday 25 October 2026. Organised by Ulsan MBC with support from Ulsan Metropolitan City, this inaugural festival has been promoted around a target field of approximately 10,000 runners. It offers a half marathon, 10 km and 5 km, allowing experienced road racers, recreational runners and newcomers to take part in the same event.
Race-day setting and programme
The festival is based at the Munsu International Archery Range in Nam-gu, at 209 Nambusunhwan-ro. Published race guidance gives an 08:30 local start for the half marathon; some race notices also refer to an 07:00 assembly. Participants in the 10 km and 5 km should confirm their own wave times and the final site arrangements through the organiser rather than assuming that every event starts together.
U-RUN has been promoted as more than a road race. The organiser's programme includes a post-run festival atmosphere, with music and food activities, while U-RUN Garden offers a separate barbecue gathering from 11:00 near the archery range. The published Garden arrangement involves additional booking and fees, so it should not be assumed to be included in a race entry. The festival also has dedicated organiser pages for course maps, an event-site guide, transport/road-control information and participant packages.
Entries and practical planning
The advertised entry fees are KRW 50,000 for the half marathon, KRW 45,000 for 10 km and KRW 40,000 for 5 km. Online registration opened on 19 August. The official organiser subsequently announced an extra application period beginning on 21 September; a current entry-calendar update reports 22 October as the final deadline. Places may sell out before that date, so confirm current availability directly on the registration platform.
The archery venue is distinct from Ulsan's football and baseball stadia. Use the full venue address when navigating, allow additional time for race-day traffic restrictions, and check the organiser's latest race-pack and transport notices. Exact category-specific flag-off times, route restrictions, kit contents and awards should be checked against the final 2026 participant instructions.
