ZEPRO RUN Hsinchu National Half Marathon 2026

The 2026 ZEPRO RUN National Half Marathon visits Hsinchu County Stadium in Zhubei on Sunday 8 November for a lively morning of road running. Staged by Chuan Tung Sporting Goods, the Hsinchu round of the established Taiwanese ZEPRO RUN series embraces the city's distinctive coastal landscapes, strong winds and cultural landmarks through its course experience and commemorative kit designs.

Three distances and early-morning starts

• 21K half marathon: starts at 6:00 am, with 3 hours 30 minutes to finish. Entrants must be at least 18 years old. A course checkpoint at approximately 16.7 km must be reached by 8:50 am.
• 10K road race: starts at 6:10 am, with 2 hours 30 minutes to finish.
• 5.5K recreational run: starts at 6:20 am, with a 90-minute limit. This is a non-ranking recreational category and younger runners may participate subject to the organiser's supervision rules.

All times are local Taiwan time (UTC+8). The start gate closes at 6:30 am, and the course closes at 9:30 am. The organiser warns that crossings may be opened to vehicles when required and participants must follow officials' directions. The 5.5K distance is a genuine advertised race category, even though ARC's current distance selector does not yet provide an exact 5.5K option.

Venue and race-day arrangements

The event village is at Hsinchu County Stadium, No. 1, Section 1, Fuxing East Road, Zhubei City, Hsinchu County. The published timetable has bag drop opening at 5:00 am, a group warm-up from 5:40 am, and an awards presentation scheduled around 8:00 am. Runners should arrive early, check their assigned start area and observe the posted traffic and safety instructions.

Kit, timing and finishing

The series offers separate value and premium entry packages, including Hsinchu-themed running apparel and category-specific extras. The 21K package features running clothing, bib, timing chip, finisher medal, certificate, water and Hsinchu-branded finisher items. Premium packages add selected items such as a sport towel, cap and lightweight jacket. The organiser posts race kits to entrants during the week before race day, so registered participants should check their delivery details and the electronic race guide on their bib QR code.

The stated entry prices exclude the NT$100 refundable timing-chip deposit, and postage/handling may apply. The organiser brought forward the registration deadline to 4 June 2026, so ordinary online registration is closed.
