Event Detail

Tatmok Marathon 2027 returns to Tat Mok National Park in Phetchabun for a nature-focused road race based at the Huai Bong Checkpoint at kilometre 10. The event combines a full marathon, half marathon, 10K mini marathon and 5K fun run, with the organiser explicitly linking the race to public health, sports tourism, forest conservation and a wildlife conservation fund for elephants in Tat Mok National Park.

The official 2027 route graphics show a genuinely hilly course rather than a flat city marathon. The 42.195K route carries about 1,088 metres of elevation gain and has an eight-hour limit, while the 21K route lists about 477 metres of climbing and a five-hour limit. The 10K route shows about 283 metres of gain and the 5K about 72 metres. All four races start and finish at the Huai Bong event base, and the official maps mark frequent hydration points along the courses.

Race morning begins early to take advantage of cooler conditions. The marathon starts at 03:00, followed by the half marathon at 05:00, the 10K at 05:10 and the 5K at 05:20. Results announcements and the awards programme are scheduled from 07:00 until noon.

Alongside normal entries, each distance also has a charity category. The organiser lists a THB 1,000 donation component on the charity receipt, supporting the event's conservation objectives. Competitive awards extend beyond the overall podiums, with separate Thai overall awards and age-group trophies in the marathon, half marathon and 10K, while the 5K has overall awards.

Race-pack collection takes place at the same Tat Mok National Park venue on Saturday before race day. Runners need their registration tracking number or barcode plus ID or passport, and proxy collection is permitted with the required participant and representative documents.
