The INOV8 ROADFLY is a flexible, neutral road-running shoe for everyday sessions on pavements, paths and uneven urban surfaces. It pairs POWERFLOW PRO midsole foam with a 6 mm BOOMERANG footbed to provide cushioning while retaining a relatively connected feel underfoot. The manufacturer's midsole measurements are 18 mm at the heel and 12 mm at the forefoot, giving a 6 mm drop. A rubber outsole with 2 mm tread is intended for paved surfaces rather than technical trails.
An engineered mesh upper offers ventilation, while the MET-CRADLE structure secures the midfoot. A flex groove allows the forefoot to adapt to uneven paving, and reflective details add some visibility in low light. The anatomical shape holds the heel and opens towards the toes; Standard and Wide fits are offered. INOV8 lists the shoe at 265 g in its reference size, so individual sizes will differ.
This is a sensible option for runners who prefer moderate cushioning and a less rigid ride, but those seeking maximum stack height or a stiff racing plate should look elsewhere.
