BMW Brunei International Half Marathon 2026

BMW Brunei International Half Marathon 2026 takes place on Sunday, 6 December, with all races starting and finishing at Budiman Walk beside Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium in Berakas, Bandar Seri Begawan. The organiser promotes the event as Brunei's only World Athletics Label Race, while AIMS lists it as Brunei's member race and confirms the 6 December 2026 edition.

The programme combines a measured 21.0975 km half marathon, a measured 10 km road race and a non-competitive 3 km Joy Run. The half marathon starts at 06:00 local time and has a four-hour limit. The 10 km follows at 06:05 with a two-hour limit, while the 3 km starts at 06:10 and has a one-hour limit. The half-marathon and 10 km routes have been measured to AIMS standards by an accredited World Athletics-AIMS course measurer. The Joy Run is intended as the more accessible recreational option rather than a prize race.

Public registration opened on 27 March and is scheduled to close at 17:00 on 30 November, subject to the organiser limiting or closing entries earlier. Minimum ages are 16 for the half marathon, 15 for the 10 km and 9 for the 3 km. Entries and bibs are non-transferable.

Race-pack collection is compulsory before race day. Collection is at Mulia Hotel, Mawar Meeting Room, Level 2, from 14:00 to 21:00 on Friday 4 December and from 09:00 to 20:00 on Saturday 5 December. There is no race-day or post-event collection. A representative may collect on behalf of a runner with the required identification copy and registration confirmation.

Runners who exceed the official cut-off may be directed onto footpaths or collected by the sweep crew. The organiser also requires participants to retire immediately if instructed by official medical staff.
