Event Detail

The Jiangkou Half Marathon 2026 takes runners through the foothills of Mount Fanjing, one of Guizhou's most distinctive landscapes. Start your day in Jiangkou County, Tongren, at Fanjingshan Park before following roads towards the Taiping River ecological corridor, Yunshe Village and the new Fanjing Matcha Town. Traditional Tujia and Dong cultural performances are planned along the route, combining a memorable road race with the region's rich heritage.

The race is scheduled for Sunday 1 November 2026 at 7.30 am local time. The organiser has announced one 21.0975K distance, with chip timing and an expected 5,000 runners. The relatively level road course has been promoted as suitable for runners aiming to improve their half-marathon times. Details of the final route, bib collection and race-day instructions should be confirmed with the organiser.

Participants may be eligible for selected regional sightseeing benefits, including admission waivers for the eastern Fanjingshan scenic-area gate and Yamu Valley and a visit to the Nongfu Spring Fanjingshan tourism facility. Exclusions and validity dates apply. General registration closed on 5 October 2026, and runners without a confirmed entry should enquire directly with the organisers.
