Event Detail
The 2026 Pu'er Mojiang Half Marathon brings 5,000 runners to Mojiang Hani Autonomous County in Yunnan on Sunday 25 October 2026. The 21.0975 km race starts at 07:30 local time from Sun Square (Taiyang Guangchang), at an altitude of approximately 1,300 metres.
The programme has men's and women's individual half-marathon races plus a two-person twin-pair classification. Twin-pair competitors must first qualify for individual entry. This is not a relay race, and there is no full-marathon distance. Mojiang is celebrated for Hani culture, its proximity to the Tropic of Cancer and local twin traditions. The event uses those connections to create a distinctive regional running experience.
Registration was conducted from 5 August to 2 September 2026 with a lottery for oversubscribed entries. Results were scheduled for 8 September. The listed entry fee was CNY 120. Individual applicants had to provide evidence of two finishes over 10 km or more during the preceding 24 months. Medical documentation dated after 25 October 2025, including blood-pressure and ECG checks, is also required under the published regulations.
The race runs from 07:30 to 10:30 China Standard Time. Organisers have recruited pacers and first-aid runners. Entrants should confirm the latest route, race-pack arrangements, transport information and individual eligibility with Bojie Sports. The map reference is approximate to Mojiang town, not a surveyed start-line location.
