WSE 10KM OPEN Xi'an 2026

The WSE 10KM OPEN Xi'an 2026 returns to Kunmingchi Qixi Park in Chang'an District, Xi'an, on Saturday 5 December 2026. This instalment of the national WSE 10K OPEN road-running series combines competitive 10K and 5K racing with parent-and-child participation over 5K and 3K. The lakeside setting is associated with Kunmingchi's long history as an ancient imperial reservoir, and the modern Qixi Park provides an attractive outdoor backdrop in the south-west of the Xi'an urban area.

Programme and starting waves

The official current-edition entry notice gives 07:00–09:00 China Standard Time for the 10K elite race, 09:00–10:00 for the 5K elite race, 09:30–10:30 for the 5K family race, and 10:00–11:00 for the 3K family race. These are the organiser's scheduled session windows, not a guarantee that every wave begins precisely at the first minute. Participants should obtain their individual assembly and start-wave instructions before race day. Times in ARC use Asia/Shanghai (UTC+8).

Entry and age rules

The competitive 10K accepts the published birthdate eligibility range 5 December 1946 to 1 January 2016. The elite 5K states 5 December 1941 to 1 January 2019. Each family category is for one adult and one child, who must enter and participate together: the 5K family category accepts children born 1 January 2018 to 1 January 2022, while the 3K accepts children born 1 January 2018 to 1 January 2023. These are the organiser's published eligibility dates; verify any exception directly with the organiser.

Registration and race-day planning

Registration is sold on a first-come, first-served basis, with categories able to reach capacity before the stated 23 November 2026, 23:59 China time deadline. Current listings show CNY 138 for either elite entry and CNY 198 per adult-and-child team for the family categories. The listed prices are starting amounts; check the official checkout for any additional charges or changed availability.

The event location is Xi'an Kunmingchi Qixi Park. ARC's map point indicates the park, not a confirmed exact start gate. The final 2026 course maps, elevation, route controls, aid-station plan, timing arrangements, awards, race-pack contents, bib-collection dates and cut-offs were not established in the verified current-edition notice. Do not rely on the April Xi'an WSE race's arrangements without new confirmation. Allow time to reach the park, follow the organiser's WSE10K WeChat announcements and check individual race reporting instructions before travelling.
