RUN Charity Trail Race returns to Hong Kong on 7 November 2026 for its sixth edition. The event is the flagship fundraiser of RUN Hong Kong, a registered charity that supports vulnerable refugees, particularly women, through sport, education and pathways towards greater resilience and self-reliance.
The event is based at Tai Tam Country Park, BBQ Site Area 2, accessed via Parkview. Its programme is designed for both adult trail runners and younger participants. The 15K starts at 07:30 and is open to ages 14-75, while the 8K starts at 08:30 for the same age range. Both of those races can also be entered as a pair. Junior racing follows later in the morning: the 3K starts at 10:30 for ages 11-13, the 1.5K starts at 11:15 for ages 8-10, and an Under 8s race starts at 11:30 for children aged 5-7 accompanied by a guardian.
RUN publishes downloadable GPX files for the 15K, 8K, 3K and 1.5K courses, giving entrants a chance to review their route before race day. The wider event is more than a trail race, with hiking, cultural games, African drumming and an international food programme forming part of the community day.
Registration is currently open through the organiser's live entry portal. The current ARC distance registry does not provide exact 8K or 1.5K options, so those genuine race categories are documented here rather than being mapped to inaccurate structured distances.
