Event Detail
The sixth Anjaneri Ultra Trail brings a two-day programme of mountain and forest running to the Anjaneri landscape outside Nashik, Maharashtra, on 5–6 December 2026. Hosted at Grape County Eco Resort on Trimbakeshwar Road, the event combines demanding long-distance trail challenges with shorter runs around the resort's biodiverse grounds. The organisers describe routes through Sahyadri hills, forest paths and the Beze Dam backwaters, in an area associated with the legend of Hanuman's birthplace.
Two-day race programme
The longest races start first: the 100-mile and 100 km ultras flag off at 06:00 IST on Saturday 5 December. Their official cut-offs are 36 hours and 24 hours respectively. The 100-mile category is a separate race, not an alternative name for the 100 km distance; ARC's current distance filters do not provide a 100-mile option.
The remaining categories start on Sunday 6 December: 50 km and 30 km at 05:30, 15 km at 06:00, 10 km at 06:45, and untimed 5 km and 3 km at 07:00. The 50 km has an eight-hour cut-off and the 30 km has four hours 30 minutes. The family-oriented 3 km and 5 km route is described as a simple out-and-back from The Turf towards the lake and County Ranch, returning to The Turf.
Planning and runner support
The organiser's dedicated race page asks runners to arrive at least 45 minutes before their flag-off, with warm-ups scheduled about 15 minutes before each start. The registration host is more conservative and asks for arrival one hour early; allow that full hour when planning travel. The organiser's expo information lists bib/kit collection at Grape County on 5 December, 12:00–18:00, but Saturday ultra participants should confirm their separate pre-start collection arrangements directly.
The registration host lists bibs, race T-shirts, finisher medals, breakfast and drinks, as well as medical and physiotherapy support. The organiser describes hydration, food and first-aid points on the course, plus token-based baggage facilities. Timing services and finisher certificates are advertised for timed distances; do not assume the untimed 3 km and 5 km carry competitive timing.
Conditions can vary with distance and terrain, from straightforward resort paths to prolonged hills and technical trail sections. Participants in the ultra events should check the organiser's latest kit requirements, category rules and full route information before travelling. The listed registration portal provides current application details; entry fees can vary by category and should be confirmed when booking.
