Event Detail
Dhash Bengaluru Half Marathon 2026 (DBHM 2.0) returns for its second edition on Sunday 6 December 2026, based at Sree Kanteerava Stadium in central Bengaluru, Karnataka. Powered by Bengaluru Runners and associated with Dhash Sports, it combines competitive road racing with a broader community and environmental programme. The organisers describe a route through the city's central business district, giving participants a chance to run through streets normally busy with urban traffic. The final category-specific route maps and road-closure arrangements should be checked when published.
Choose a race
The confirmed programme offers a 21.1 km timed half marathon, 10 km timed run and 5 km fun run. The 10K and half marathon use electronic timing, while the organiser describes the 5K as a non-competitive community option. The race listing gives 5:00 am India Standard Time as the event's overall starting time, but does not establish individual flag-off times for all three distances.
The official registration platform lists base entry prices of ₹900 for 5K, ₹1,500 for 10K and ₹2,250 for the half marathon, excluding applicable GST. The race package includes an event T-shirt, finisher medal, route hydration, event photographs and post-race breakfast; the timed categories also include chip timing and a certificate. The organiser says registration began in June, with regular entries starting on 1 September. One official registration listing gives 30 November as the closing date, but places may fill earlier. Check the live booking page before making arrangements.
Participation and race-day planning
The minimum published entry age is 13 years. The registration terms require runners to collect their bib in person using government-issued photo identification, or provide a written authorisation and ID copy for a representative. The organiser has not yet published a final collection venue or timetable, so allow time for pre-race collection and watch for confirmed instructions.
An environmental commitment is part of DBHM's identity: organisers link participation to tree planting following a similar initiative at the inaugural edition. Prize money is advertised for competitive runners, although individual prize amounts and categories should be checked against the final rules. Overall awards are assessed on gun time, according to registration terms. Before race morning, confirm the stadium access gate, transport arrangements and exact flag-off for your chosen distance.
